COVID-19 Information

Keep safe. Keep healthy.

We hope you are well and staying clear of the virus.

Say Aphasia have decided it is in everyone’s best interest to cancel all future drop in groups until it is safe to run them again.

We appreciate that this will cause you to have a gap in your diaries and you may feel a lack of support. This is why Colin, the peer leader, is happy to receive any phone calls or text messages if you feel you would like to have a chat

UPDATE: We are now running our drop-in groups ONLINE! You can learn more about this here.

We will continue to update you as things progress, and to bring news of any ways that we can continue to help you at this time of disquiet. If you have any ideas on how we can help you in replace of the drop in groups, please let us know.

Friends and relatives of those with aphasia, please see if you need to reach out to us on a relative or friends behalf.

If you do not have friends and family to rely on, and as time goes on, you need more support, please let us know.

Please steer clear of anyone with cold like symptoms, and avoid direct contact. As you all know, wash your hands regularly if you leave the house.

Go Virtual, If Possible

Not everyone has access to online devices such as mobile phones, tablets, or computers. But if you do, consider going virtual for the next few weeks.

Please let us know if you will benefit from a video call.
