Art Exhibition

Say Aphasia hosted their first art exhibition at ONCA gallery in Brighton at the beginning of August.

Once a month, people with aphasia who attend our Brighton drop in group participate in our art class. Art is a very therapeutic way to relax. Art is also a way to relieve the frustrations that aphasia causes them. We hope that our art classes can be beneficial in improving quality of life, by helping to alleviate frustrations, boredom, and the many other negative emotions that can be caused due to living with aphasia.

Over the past two years, we have produced quite a lot of wonderful art, and so we thought what better way to celebrate the work, than to exhibit them! We are every proud of all the paintings and drawings created in our Brighton drop in group and we hope to continuing creating a lot more.

If you already attend the drop in groups and you have some ideas for other art classes, please let us know. If you would like to volunteer your time and host an art class, please get in contact.
