Over the last 5 years, we have tried our hardest to raise awareness of aphasia. Especially as not enough people know what it is. We now believe that we are making progress. We are working with local stroke units in hospitals, speech and language therapists, local newspapers such as The Argus, all to help make aphasia more understood and more spoken about.
