I had a stroke at the age of 41. I have kept all of my physical abilities but now suffer from Aphasia. This means I find it very difficult to read, write and speak. This makes it very hard to communicate and express my feelings.
I am doing the skydive 2 years on from my stroke.
I have convinced my daughter Holly, my sister Alison and my two friends Emma and Red to join me in the jump.
The group Say Aphasia has helped me so much. We have meetings every week which I look forward to. It is a great support with other people who suffer from Aphasia. Fiona Cooke
