I have been fortunate to work alongside Says Aphasia through my employment at Sussex Community Foundation Trust (SCFT) since 2019 and have witnessed the excellent work the charity does to support people with aphasia. This includes the superb Befrienders who are SCFT volunteers and provide support in the home and community to people, sharing their own experiences. I know a lot of the Befrienders well and I am really honoured to join them on the 2nd of March.

I last ran the BHM 2 years ago and am very excited to have another opportunity to run on behalf of Say Aphasia. David Slade
