As you may know I am a Speech and Language Therapist and I predominantly work with people who have had a stroke or other type of acquired brain injury.
A lot of the people I see have a communication impairment called aphasia which can affect someone’s ability to speak, understand, read and write. It can be devastating.
Say Aphasia is a peer-led charity and its work in supporting people with aphasia is vital and can be life changing.
I visit the Say Aphasia group in Hove most Fridays and I can honestly say there are few more life affirming places I have encountered in my life.
But the charity needs money. That’s where I hope you come in. James MCGOLDRICK
