We are social beings with a need to communicate, verbally being the default method and so often taken for granted.
With my past profession and recent family history, I have seen first hand how debilitating and frustrating it can be when such a 'simple' task is denied us.
That is why I am taking part in the SayAphasia Brighton Half Marathon on 1st March, 2026. St. David’s Day no less!
I am not a natural athlete and
It will not be a pretty sight, but I am determined to cross that finish line no matter how long it takes (and it will take a long time!)
