In Loving Memory of James Stocken

James Henry Stocken (Jim) 1938 - 2023. Formerly Proprietor of Car Electrics Brighton, a leading Auto Electrician between 1970's and 2000, died with his loving family around him on the 6th February 2023.

His funeral and celebration of life will take place on Tuesday 14th March 2023 at 2pm the Down's Crematorium, Brighton with a wake to follow at the Ladies Mile Pub, Patcham.

James leaves a huge hole in our lives and three Children Karen, David and Paul. Three grandchildren, Sam, Alex and Parris, and five great grandchildren Scarlett, Austin, Reggie, Theo and Roman.

He is much loved and will always be remembered. We know him as Grandad Jim, Dad, Uncle Jim, a supportive, kind, loving and generous man. A brother, great grandad, father in law, son, friend, colleague, hero, and husband.

 

Many will know that he was one of the original auto electricians in Brighton along with his brother and partner Geoff setting up Car Electrics in the 70's until 2000's.  Prior to that he worked at SAMS in Hove.

 

He has left a huge gap in our lives, as he was so positive. He would be filled with total joy when there were family gatherings. We will miss him terribly! His spirit will live forever in our memories, and lives.
