Andy, Mike, Paul, Emma & Mackayla will be walking non-stop from Trafalgar Square to the QA hospital in Portsmouth. We will be supported along the way by Janet, David & Jen. It is our way of supporting a close friend who has aphasia and saying thanks to the charity for all the help that they offer.

Say Aphasia is a small charity that supports those impacted by Aphasia. It provides, help, support, guidance and companionship both to those with Aphasia, and their families in challenging times.

It is an incredibly worthwhile cause and I feel privileged to be joining a relay team to cross the British Channel this June, to help raise both money and awareness for this outstanding cause.

  • Why we exist

    Why we exist

This charity knows first hand the confusion, frustration and change that a stroke can have on a person and their family. We know that aphasia is not only a result of a stroke, but also head injury, brain haemorrhage, or a brain tumour. That is why we are focused on supporting anyone with aphasia or similar conditions. We have many people who come regularly to our drop in groups who have aphasia, dysarthria and apraxia.
