There is nothing more rewarding than completing a challenge. The huge sense of achievement and pride may just be one of the most amazing feelings.

To escape from the day to day norm and push yourself through new boundaries truly makes you feel alive!

Just ask the founder of Say Aphasia who ran a marathon a day, for six consecutive days... in the Sahara desert and Gobi Desert!!! But of course you do not need to sign up to such extreme challenges such as the Marathon Des Sables, or Racing The Planet, you can still make your friends and family proud by entering some of these extraordinary challenges listed below.

If there is an event not listed below that you wish to take part in, please register your interest with us, and we can connect our charity to that event.

You will not have to pay for entering the event, though we do ask that you raise at least twice the amount of the entry cost.

Or select one of the challenges below

Once you are successfully entered into your chosen event, please set up your fundraising page here.

    Why we exist

This charity knows first hand the confusion, frustration and change that a stroke can have on a person and their family. We know that aphasia is not only a result of a stroke, but also head injury, brain haemorrhage, or a brain tumour. That is why we are focused on supporting anyone with aphasia or similar conditions. We have many people who come regularly to our drop in groups who have aphasia, dysarthria and apraxia.
